It's funny though - everyone has said for years that you wear a defense out by running at them. Why? I know the line smashes into them, but those plays are generally opportunities for the secondary to catch their breath a bit. And ask pass-rushers what wears their legs out faster - run defense or pass rushing. The vast majority of them will tell you rushing the passer. Trying to explode upfield and work towards that quarterback is just exhausting for these guys.

So you put Houston out there with limited reps of getting after the passer and just trying to be as explosive as possible and you'll probably get his heart rate back up a bit and help out in that regard as well.

Seems like a perfect recipe to get him back in the mix. And if you don't play him at all vs. AZ, you might as well just have him sit through the bye because I don't know how you could expect him to be all that useful against LA at that altitude in Mexico City.
