Mahomes benefits GREATLY from Andy Reid and elite weapons everywhere. Sam Darnold has nothing. Nobody. Nada. I can’t name a single receiver on that team.
And his coaching staff doesn’t know dick about offense at all.
Situation is everything. Mahomes isn’t this good if he isn’t here.
Look at GB. Rodgers is great but his coach is a boring, dumb asshole and management can’t draft a single good RB in a league where seemingly everybody has one.
