Like the way Sanchez did? The problem with Smith, like Sanchez, isn't ability. It's attitude. And last thing you want is for Smith to continue his rotten attitude, but get away with it if he starts to do well. That's enablement. It's the same thing that let Sanchez get away with not caring about the game as much as he should have, and both New York and Rex Ryan let him get away with it.
