Norv sucks Schweatty Balls, but this is a non-story. Coaches do shit like this all the time. Belichick likes to surprise his troops by telling them, at the end of a practice, that if a fat O-lineman can catch a punt they can have the next day off. He also does shit like has the veterans acts as position coaches for a session.
But, as for Norv... I thank the Football Gods every day that he coaches San Diego. With a real coach there, we'd probably be including the Chargers in the discussion with the Patriots, Steelers, and Colts as "multiple AFC Super Bowl winners this past decade".
