It’s really simple why it hasn’t. Fortnite is a FPS with pvp, and a lot of people at once. VR is taxing on the graphics card, requires a lot of network bandwidth to provide an immersive experience, and hasn’t solved the movement vr sickness issue many experience. Fortnite would have people puking and sick as a dog if it was even possible to have a large enough user base to gain any return on investment given the base system demands and internet bandwidth required to have 100 players in VR at once. There’s zero reason given their success in its current form to go VR at this time, wouldn’t be a profitable venture.
