Why the hell does it matter what fans are saying regarding the perceived seriousness they take the next opponent? Unless that magically translates to the attitude the players have, this has no impact on the outcome of the game. I truly do not care what any of the Pats fans think or their perception of this game. Likewise, you shouldn't care if we are confident in our own team. The arguments we make on this board will play themselves out on Sunday. I can all but guarantee that the Chiefs are NOT overlooking the Pats.
I'm not nervous at all as I am on the "house money" mentality. I was a wreck last week, but since the bar in the playoffs for the Chiefs is so low, my expectations have already been eclipsed, especially for a first year starting QB. Anything more now is pretty much gravy.
