It's less now, but before yesterday I think Mahomes was still on pace for 4500 yards and 45 TD.

I think he's going to have a hard time getting another MVP without going 50/50 again. He set the bar too high for himself.

I mean, people on here have talked like he's regressed or that the league has figured him out. Yeah, I know, they're all ****ing idiots. But I think the public will have the same perception as those morons do when he's not throwing for 350 and 5 TD all the time.

I mean shit, he has 1900 yards, 16 TD and 1 pick in 7 games. That's more than 4300 yards, 37 TD and 2 picks over 16 games. And that's after a 2 game stretch where he threw for a total of 425 yards and 3 TD in a pair of blowout wins.

Fact is, the Chiefs are a much more rounded team now, so he doesn't even have to be 'that guy' for them to win. Which is why I think they're the #1 team in the NFL, and it's not even close. They can beat you in every phase of the game. That's rare, and not just in today's NFL.
