It is a trade off. Yes you will have to put up with light pollution these satellites will produce but you will also reap the benefit of a world connected by the internet. You don't get to have a modern world and a pristine natural world. We get to choose and our nature is to choose to make things easier for us. Bees make honey, humans pave paradise and put up parking lots.

I get the trade off and don't misunderstand... I'm SUPER happy that this is going to get internet access to people that didn't have access before. 100% for it. Needs to happen.
Understanding this doesn't make it any less annoying. I'm sure I'll grow accustomed to it eventually and it won't bother my brain anymore but I live in butt-**** Missouri and man... that shit is bright out here without light pollution from the city.
