Remember in the Mahomes thread when I said that I'm a fan of Steinberg?
Yeah - I knew there was a reason. What a standup move by the guy to put his client's well-being ahead of his raw draft stock. He could've leaked the Chiefs interest to get teams looking to trade up to 5-6 and get him. That soups up his signing bonus and puts more money immediately in Steinberg's pocket.
Instead he recognized just how perfect the situation in KC was for his guy and kept that information under his hat. Really not something I'd expect out of an agent and pretty damn commendable.
