If so and they didnt think it would get out just more stupidity on their part, if they did say it was a portion of the recording how could they realistically expect it not to come out?

I watched it live but there has been so much shit it is hard to be sure. I think they said something to the effect of - "here is a segment of that horrific audio recording where the abuse of their son is discussed- who recently had a broken arm." They absolutely did not say the arm has already been deemed an accident- so when they played the "Daddy Did It!!" it was a full narrative hit job. They also Never said it was recorded without Reeks consent and was intended for "insurance" (blackmail) which Clark finally admitted they knew from the start.
TV5 only admitted later that it was spliced up after the full tape came out. "Because it was not newsworthy!!"
They also had report later of an "Another Possible domestic violence situation at Reeks home," which turned out that he was not even there, he called the police because she was having some kind of medical emergency. Of course, they Never said why the police were there- Just a "Possible Domestic Violence Situation."
