Yes, yes, yes on the white pepper. I love that stuff. Especially in French dishes; in home made salad dressing. Grains of Paradise can even go in apple pie.
Another ingredient is
Herbs-de-Provence. Also great in a homemade salad dressing with white pepper.
But has many other uses.
