Prior to the trade deadline in July, 2011 I met my brother (who lives in St. Louis) in Cincinnati to catch a Cards game there (they won). Shortly after the Cards traded away a young CFer for pitching help. Of course we all know the Cards eventually went on a late season streak to get the WC and eventually win the World Series.
This past July, I met my brother in Cincinnati to catch a game just prior to the trade deadline (it was the only game they won that weekend). Later they traded away a young CFer for pitching help.
