I have worked up in that area every year for the past 5 years and I've never heard that or anyone who lives there say that. Vulnerable to hurricanes yes, but a tornado

Florida gets tornadoes. We get them here at times, during storms and hurricanes, but they're smaller and weaker than the ones that hit out in Hurricane Alley. Just not every two weeks.
