I think that's a general (albeit non-specific) summary of events. There's a lot of shame to go around.
I, for one, am convinced that there's more to the "Espinal Gang" than it seemed at the time. I honestly think that Meredith was likely in cahoots with the Espinals to leverage Tyreek's relationship with Baby Mama for money. Hopefully, Tyreek's attorney has the texts, emails, and voice messages to prove it.

Yep, but Meredith also alluded to friends on the police force, if I'm not mistaken. I'm guessing they gaslit the police force too, which is why the idiots at the Star *thought* they had corroboration from JoCo law enforcement when in it was just the same recycled, laundered shit.
