It works out because you'll get a chance to take the top off and heave one deep a few times a game if the guy you're playing against ever mixes up his coverages; and if he always has 2-deep safety help, it should be easy enough to pick him apart in the intermediate range.
... But yeah, just don't throw it to Bowe on deep routes with the CB on his hip. The deep jump ball in this game just isn't exactly life-like.

You really have to pick your spots on streaks. If I see the cb jamming the receiver I will typically hot route to a streak, then if he gets a step on the cb and the safety is deep, I will throw a hard pass so he catches it between the safety and cb..If the safety isn't deep I will throw deep and lead the receiver. I also tend to have another guy run an in route so if its a 2 safety deep the middle of the field should be open and I'll use that as my 2nd read.
