I hated Batista until the last few months of his last run. Thought he was great as a heel right before he left.

Ryback is the special needs goldberg (i stole that from somebody somewhere).

I just wish we lived in a world where they could give Daniel Bryan a run like that. Where everything wasn't predicated on physique, and actual talent *as a wrestler* (in the ring and on the mic both) was what got guys pushed.

Won't happen as long as vince is alive. I do think (suprisingly) a lot of the pushes we've seen lately that might not have happened in the past (punk, specifically) have a lot to do with HHH. And he's clearly open to bringing in and developing indy wrestlers, so maybe the approach will change in time.
