Self has only won one championship. And no KU fan would call for the AD or Self's head because they were pissed about how they treated one player. Lakers fans are upset because Jim Buss has been a disaster in every move he's made.
Celtics fans are pissed because they are in denial that their team is aging. I don't get the Jeff Green move, but in an era where you won a championship, were in two championships, and have been one of the most dangerous postseason teams, it's a little odd that the Jeff Green move is viewed as a fireable offense. This team was built for a short run. That run is over. Only in Boston would people actually be upset at the kind of magnificent run they've had the past 5 years or so.
