So I stopped the boat and pulled my state record fish out of the live well to look him over again. Sure enough, my white bass just didn't look quite right.
Damn it damn it damn it. I'm just glad I didn't go running into the marina hollering about my state record white bass.

You're 100% right, no idea wtf I was thinking... knew it was a crappie but said the wrong thing.
