Could barely stand the new guy as Spartacus, he looked too much like a typical pretty boy and also lacked the depth of acting that Andy Whitfield did... Whitfield looked like some ancient guy and had the gravitas to pull off the role.
New dude, not so much... but I didnt let it stop me from watching because I'd become so invested after the first season, that series was a LOT of fun, they always did justice to the Romans and all of their ugly machinations.
