Aaron Rodgers is an incredible aberration in todays game. That draft day sucked but it may have really paid off for him in the end. I'm not sure how he would have ended up if he was forced to play for an awful team from day 1.
He was able to sit for 3 years and fix his mechanics. It probably helped he was only under Tedford for 2 years and prior to that hadn't thrown from the high hold. Still, nobody with otherwise first round talent gets that kind of time to sit.
