Why do you have to limit it to before the season to rationalize it?
Probably because there were people here who thought this was winnable during the week, and even more that thought it was winnable during the game.
Someone in another thread had the audacity to say something like, "no worries, the Colts never lose in Indy."
Sure, lets rationalize away a game that could, and should have been won - if only we had a QB that any opposing defense is concerned about.
The game was there for the taking, and we folded.
