With the 43rd selection in the 2018 NFL Draft, the New England Patriots select Malik Jefferson, LB, Texas.
The Pats need a player, similar to what Jamie Collins was, that can rush the passer, drop into coverage, and be a 3 down player. Jefferson offers this versatility, with outstanding speed and burst to go along with being an excellent tackler in tight quarters.
