So the future has begun. As much as most of the media has considered him "RAW", I think this is going to take quite some time to make him a true QBOTF. I have been a Chiefs fan since probably 1994. I have always loved this team. I feel we have a slight disadvantage because he is not going to hit the field ala - Mariota, Winston, Goff, Carr, Newton and Wentz. I truly believe, this is going to take some time and the fans will become restless. The only bright sides I can see is his talent and his intelligence. It is up to him and the coaching staff as to how fast he progresses. All seem to want Smiff to get season injured week 1 and St. Patrick takes the field and becomes the savior - that isn't going to happen. I feel this is truly a work of art and cannot be rushed. I just hope all here realize that we truly took a deep step back for a future step forward. This is a true case of being patient.
