I should hope so, since a lot of stores- including walmart, who I heard was alloted the most console inventory of the brick and mortar stores, were getting new stock of the Ones (and PS4 too, btw) over the week between the launch and black Friday, but refused to sell any of these until they started their black Friday deals on Thanksgiving just to get more people in the store. It also was done to boost their sales numbers on black Friday to give a boost to their totals in sales which would be a positive for their stock price.

Target last week was selling them as each store would get new stock of just 2 to 8 units and they typically unload the new inventory off their trucks at around 4-5pm each day. I talked to a few workers at a few of the stores and the limited number of new stock they would get in would be gone in like 20 minutes. Often times they wouldn't even be able to put the consoles out in the display cases as people would either already be hovering around the electronics checkout and waiting or people who were just shopping in the store would see the units coming out from the shipping area on the stock carts and immediately get one and follow the cart to electronics.
A couple of employees said they'd been offered $50-$100 to hold back a unit for people interested in getting one when a new shipment arrived. They wouldn't do it as they had a meeting with their managers for all employees that worked in electronics and were told specifically under no circumstances could they reserve or put them on a hold for anyone including other Target employees or themselves or they would be immediately fired.

Edit: see, Walmart already sent out a bunch of press releases and features on business and investment channels trotting out that this year was their most successful and profitable black Friday ever.
