And yet there are things Cassel does that those guys haven't done (IE Matt Cassel has a higher career completion percentage than Kyle Orton, Matt Cassel takes care of the ball better than Kyle Orton, Matt Cassel is better in the red zone than Kyle Orton, Matt Cassel is more athletic than Kyle Orton). It goes hand in hand. We all dislike Cassel so much that we won't give him credit even when he does something well, instead finding excuses for why he did it and expecting that he's going to suck the next time out.
Well same goes for a guy like Orton. Initially you'll look at him with fresh eyes and think wow that guy does a nice shoulder fake, or that guy throws a prettier deep ball. Then, three interceptions and a loss later, you start to look at what he does poorly, then as the inconsistency continues, you just begin focusing on all of the crappy things he does, then after two years of inconsistency, you get sick of having to watch the guy and start clamoring for a fullback who can occasionally make a throw to replace him.
Going from Cassel to Orton would be like going from Bono to Grbac...
