Like I told the club Pro at Adams Point, "nice course, but don't think 'not mowing' is a cool way to make the course more challenging." That day I never lost any that were in the fairway, but I lost 5 that trickled off the fairway. Just because they had the first cut at 2.5 inches a round and the 2nd cut at nearly 4 inches doesn't make the course challenging, it just means (to me), the course is too cheap to mow. It's all good, they won't hear me complain again.

With their mindset any farmer in Kansas could randomly put 18 flags around their wheat farm, dig some holes and put some sand in them, mow a little more around the flags, and call the USGA hoping for next year's Open.
Great. Playing a tournament at Adams Pointe on Sunday.
