There is what the world is. Nothing more. Nothing less. He might have PREFERRED to have been born the opposite gender, but he wasn't SUPPOSED to be anything than what he is. (Most likely he would have had the exact same feelings in reverse.)
This isn't Downs Syndrome, or FAS, where there is a foreign influence that changes an otherwise normal birth. You were born a dude. Figure it out. You think that dude is HAPPY now that he appears to be female? You think he feels at peace? Or is his life still a constant struggle, because he has to defend to himself and others that he is what he says he is.
Try being what you actually are, and come to terms with that. You don't even need to chop off your dick. Drag queens own the fact that they're dudes in costume. They aren't ashamed of what they are, physically or mentally, and I find that FAR healthier.
