I don't quite understand why indoor malls are more or less a thing of the past, and are being replaced by strip malls. No idea why you would want to trudge through snow, or temperatures below 50 degrees or above 75 degrees to buy shit if the alternative is a nice cozy, convenient mall at 70 degrees temp in the inside.
A retractable roof would be perfect for KC.

It could be open most of the time, then close it during the harsh months
