I looked it up and in his brief NFL career, he has already returned 4 punts for touchdowns. And I suspect he is one of those players that has teams changing how they punt.
The Chiefs for a decade seemed to keep drafting speedy returner/scatback types. We had Dexter McCluster (who suuuuucked), then D'Anthony Thomas (better but always injured), then Hill - and probably some others I'm forgetting.

Hill was a running back in college and IIRC no one here had super high expectations of him over those other two. But holy crap that first season he retuned a ton of punts/kicks - but even more than that he caught everything that was thrown at him. You could just throw it in his direction, at any speed, and he'd somehow come down with it. He caught a ball in our big comeback against Denver while he was literally being jacked up by the defender. I was like - why was this dude a running back in college?

I think one thing fans of any pro sport do is tend to assume a star player would have emerged no matter what situation they were drafted into. But I give a lot of credit to Reid for pushing Hill into the WR role and working so hard with him to figure it out.

Who knows - if Hill is drafted by some other team he may not have turned into a top 5 WR and the second most valuable player on a team with the league MVP.
