The holiday weekend last week has played a role for sure.
Testing here locally shut down last week from Friday until Tuesday even though people needed testing so they had to wait until Tuesday so many more people tested Tuesday than would have on a normal day. As a result a larger number of test results came back on a single day (late Friday) while no testing occurred for 3 days etc...which will cause a lag in results 3 days from that time.

Hospitals being full with COVID here has little to do with testing numbers. Only people with severe issues from this need the hospital. It’s spiking here and you can’t spin it any other way. 3 hospitals reported to us today they’re in code purple and opening new COVID wings.
