At any given time we have 15 or more devices running off our internet, most via wi-fi. I just checked, right now there are 20. I wonder if there could be some latency caused by having all these devices?

Damn, 20 devices? Another thing to check is each individual device. I installed internet service for sometime and seen overall speeds slowed down by 1 device. I can't remember how many times I got a trouble call for speed and a parent had given their kid an old phone to play with and it would bog the whole signal down. The slowest device connected will be the fastest speed for all other devices. Old phones and wireless printers we're the worst
