My wife has had a bothersome heel for awhile and been putting off going to the doctor because well life. She finally went and found out she has some pretty serious bone spurs under her achillies tendon. Apparently she has a partial tear already and was told 90% chance she has to have surgery for this which involves detaching the tendon, shaving off the spurs then attaching it back.
Sounds like a barrel of fun surgery right there.

Make sure your son heals that collarbone properly. I have some friends who are still messed up to this day because it didn't set right.
Never heard of the heel issue. I've torn lots of ligaments, never a tendon.Sounds painful. All the best to her.
I had a shitty week too. Lost my job at a company I'd worked for for 20 years. While not physically painful, painful all the same. Could be a lot worse...
