In TLJ it wasn't important what the studio wants (but we do have 6 of 8 writers on staff who are female. FOR THE FIRST TIME 6 MAJOR CONTRIBUTORS THAT ARE FEMALE!) The head of the studio came out and said that "THE FORCE IS NOW FEMALE."

So, you are a writer/director taking this project over which just happens to be the biggest one of your life.

What do you do?
