Barnett took Northwestern to a Rose Bowl and I believe won the conference a time or two with Colorado (was he the coach for their Nat'l championship run?). Barnett has a
much better resume as a head coach than Charlie Weis.
And what's Fulmer done to create an NCAA issue? Most of the crap at TN was from Pearl and the basketball program; the football troubles were all Monte's kid. Fulmer has a relatively clean NCAA track record, especially for as long as he was around.
KU got themselves a practice wife - just like I said they should. You were all appalled at the suggestion that he job was crap at the moment and they needed to find a bit of a fallen star with a proven track record to prop it back up.
Or maybe Weis was Zengers #1 guy the whole time. Afterall, AD Ninja clearly didn't wouldn't have lost out on anyone he actually wanted...
