His stat line in that game was garbage. Most of his yards came on one long TD to Vernon Davis.
The 9ers rode a weak NFCW to a first round bye, barely squeaked by the Saints thanks to something like 5 turnovers by Drew Brees. Then Smith almost didn't lose the game for them the next week.
