Runs for no gain still run more clock than an incomplete pass. A rushing attempt runs clock no matter what unless the ball carrier runs out of bounds.
Maybe we were down to the 3rf string RB against Indy, but we were up by 28 at one point in the game. And against Tennessee we had the league's leading rusher.
It is amazing that everyone is just applying revisionist history to make Reid out to be a flawless HC just because Mahomes is killing it and Reid is playing a big part in that. Who knew Mahomes could travel through time and rewrite the Andy Reid playoff coaching narrative.
