It's simply a matter of volume. IMO, where Apple does the most markup is on its computer hardware, and that's a much, much smaller percentage of revenue.

I don't understand how people can argue that they are overpriced. The market helps to set prices and the market clearly indicates that the price point is in line. This is proven even more by how the competition has similar products priced below Apple, yet Apple maintains strong sales.
This is like saying that Froot Loops are priced way too high because Froot Rings are almost as good and are 35% less than Froot Loops.
