JW did not give a fair presentation of the facts. Since he mentioned the broken arm, he should also have included the fact that the investigators determined that the broken arm was NOT consistent with an injury inflicted by another. He should also have mentioned that the recording was secretly made by Hill's ex-fiancee & that Hill was unaware that he was being recorded.

I do agree that it is NOT okay to punch a 3 year old. (No matter how hard or soft.) But to Hill's credit, he twice said on the secret recording that he'd listen if someone offered a better way to discipline his son. That wasn't mentioned by JW either.

Hill and his ex both need some mandatory parenting classes and regular visits from CPS. At least until they learn & employ better parenting skills. It's reasonable to expect that they can improve in that area. But suspending Hill from the NFL for poor parenting skills is not a solution. And as of right now, that's about the only relevant and substantiated claim that can be made against him. No animus towards JW, but he should have done better on this one.
