Recommend me a Beer

I usually drink Miller Lite or Natural Light and never try much of anything else unless I visit a restaurant with a micro brewery in it so....


What would someone like me who drinks 12-14 on game day find a tasty treat that I can buy at most regular stores.

don't buy Blue Moon, that's the garbage white ale. Just pick any other white ale that you see in the store, it will most likely be better than Blue Moon.

But you outta just go with Blvd Wheat. That's a great beer to transition to from light beers if you are trying to expand your beer horizons.

Yeah, you have to take a few pulls to acclimate. It's a damn good beer though.

it's good for a common. Sam's Octoberfest is very malty if i remember correctly.

If you are really feeling frisky, grab an imperial pumpkin beer. I love this time of year and imperial pumpkins are one of my favorite styles.

i always thought their distribution was limited, but maybe they're expanding?

They're like the 12th largest brewery in the U.S. at this point. They'll be hitting all 48 in the next year or two, I'd imagine.

Regarding Shiner Bock, it's a safe and delicious choice. You can't go wrong with it. It's not going to blow anybody's mind but very few people are going to turn up their nose either.
