Red zone scoring

We've sucked ass in the red zone this year. Way too many goddamn field goals. Last year we were the best team in the red zone, scoring a TD 73.08% of the time. This year we're ranked 27th and are at 44.83%.

I don't know if it's the play-calling or maybe not having Hunt or just regression toward the mean. Also it seems like we always have some penalty in the red zone that ruins the drive. Thoughts?

Yep for one of the most blatant OPI pick plays I've seen since Manning was in Denver. Difference is they actually were allowed to do it.

West coast staple. If you didn't see Walsh's, Green's, Holmgren's, and even our Andy Reid's offenses doing this stuff all the time for the past almost 40 years you weren't watching.

Yeah, Kubiak did it too, but c'mon. Favre threw 100 TD's on pick plays and they didn't even try to hide it back then because the refs never called it.

Oh shit, the most blatant of all time was the one Freddie Mitchell laid in the SB against the patriots that sprung Owens. Andy loves this stuff. It's going to get called sometimes.

True. Although last year we had quite a few too with Sammy, LDT, Morse all missing alot of time & then Kareem getting cut.

Not the extent of this year's injuries but still.

Like I said though I bet we start seeing better RZ production soon. Getting Fish & LDT back will definitely help too.
