I wasn't one of the people trying to convince myself about OBJ, I saw he was absolute garbage from day one. I bitched about him constantly as he got Mahomes literally almost killed at least once per game.

I don't need to convince myself about Taylor and Smith, I'm watching the games and see the fact that Mahomes has time to brew a pot of coffee back there. I don't really care what a bunch of clueless nerds at PFF say. It's a night and day difference, there's no comparison to anyone with a functioning brain.

I can agree with that. He's better suited for a guy that hits a spot consistently and doesn't stray from it too much

In all honesty, after the first couple of games, I wondered if they were either A) a little overrated or B) still trying to figure out how to play in the Chiefs scheme. Or maybe even some combination of both.

And also there was probably a little bit of getting comfortable in their roles with new comrades and all of that. But now there is no doubt in my mind that the tackles are an upgrade from the last couple of years. No doubt, whatsoever.
