It's the same BS we hear after every disappointing outing. Why not Thornhill over Sorenson, Gay (after his return from injury) over Neiman, Pringle/Kemp/Fountian/WR of the week over DRob? The answer is until one of those guys step up and TAKE the job away from the incumbent, we'll continue to see the same guys starting. Put the onus on the have-not rather than the have or coaching staff.

Dan and Ben should almost never see the field. I dont care about practice. They suck. Put the younger guys out there so they can get better.

Humphrey, Smith, Niang, and to some extent Bolton, say otherwise.
I'm not saying our best 11 are always on the field, I'm just saying something caused Andy, Spags, and the rest of the staff to observe that Dirty Dan had a better camp than Juan. Can Thornhill be effective in the box? When he does make a tackle, does he lay the wood or does he try to just push the runner out of bounds? Is his injury causing him to be tentative or does he just say "**** it, football is a contact sport"? |

Concern in the back of my head is that Sneed doesn't look as instinctive this year, so I wonder if the coaches are overdoing something with these guys. |
