In case anyone needs it spelled out, we would play at a neutral site if the AFCCG ends up being Chiefs vs. Bills. All other scenarios abide by the usual rules (so any other game the Chiefs play will be at home).

I didn't get that impression at all. He said the day started awkward at the facility.

Jason mentions playing football is what helps him deal with diversity.

It'll be interesting to see what happens, because if teams are allowed to forfeit without penalty, you'll see it happening in Week 18 going forward when teams don't have anything to play for. The good teams will forfeit to get a bye week, and the bad teams will forfeit to save payroll.

You can't let the teams or players have input on this, because they don't necessarily have the best interest of the sport in mind. The league office exists to protect the sport.

I pointed this out early on, players on both those teams with incentive based deals should sue now….

Yeah but I think that's why the league office has been too wishy washy about everything. They're in a tough spot. If they push this too far or in the wrong way, it's going to bring into question the entire sport of football. So far they've been able to avoid any discussion around that so they've probably done a good job but eventually they're going to have to make a tough decision.

I saw somebody earlier on Twitter nominating McDermott and Taylor for co-coaches of the year. That would honestly be pretty cool. Both of these guys have done a great job with their respective franchises, and they were leaders on Monday night in a way that some other coaches wouldn't have been.

Edit: For the record, I'm talking specifically about Mike McDaniel and Andy Reid. I'm glad, and the league is almost certainly glad, that neither of those gentlemen was on the sideline for this game.
