Incinerated Blob is a complete and useless hack that I'd take more stock from flinging ye own shit against the wall and listening to the splatter sound.

So I've been fighting the Donovan McNabb comparisons as much as I can with myself. People have pointed to the obvious similarities:
-Big East QBs (Geno was for three years) -Primary passers with some decent scrambling abilities -Come from offenses that require a "transition" to a pro set, even though Geno has played in a pro set -Have the reputation of being "raw" players, even though that wasn't as true as some people wanted it to be for McNabb and now with Geno -Dumbasses have or will question a team that drafts these guys with a top 5 pick -BLACK (sorry, had to do it) But, geez. Look at some of this Donovan McNabb footage. That shuffle he does with his feet. His eyes always looking downfield. The excellent touch on his passes. The cross-body throw that's so difficult to do. That's Geno. Don't tell me Andy couldn't take Geno Smith and produce another Donovan McNabb out of that. And don't tell me any of you wouldn't GLADLY take a Donovan McNabb-level of production from the QB position on this team. The more I see the more I'm confident Geno would make a FANTASTIC pro QB under Andy Reid. This pick just has to happen. It's GOT TO. I'll be mopey for ****ing weeks if it doesn't. |

Too risky. Better let a Top 10 LT walk and replace him with someone who probably won't be as good.

I remember McNabb being a lot more of a runner than Geno was in College? He was also not a real accurate passer in the NFL his first few years.

He never really became all that accurate. He was around 60% for his career.
