Yeah, it's kind of embarrassing to read. Especially the Brady Whataboutism. Like fans don't constantly denigrate his accomplishments as well.

You kind of proved our point in your phrasing there, bub. The Rockets and Lakers orgs doing their job is quite a bit different than Lebron, Wade, and Bosh conspiring for half a decade to make sure their contracts aligned to hit free agency together and each taking 15 million less to ensure the contracts fit.

If you can't see the difference between orgs doing their jobs and players blatantly bypassing the measures put in place to keep the league competitive that's on you.

JFC you're missing the point entirely.

Why are all super teams the same when talking about Lebron, but KD did the worsest thing EVAR?

Not to the level of LeBron and it’s likely bc the NFL didn’t have a guy like Michael Jordan or be as successful as him as a comparison.

I guess you could try to say Joe Montana except the whole Steve Young taking his job and winning a ring with his team dampens his legacy quite a bit in comparison to a great like MJ.

I hate it but I think you’re gonna see a lot of folks using the MJ/LeBron comparison for Brady/Mahomes and it feels like no matter what Patrick does he’s never gonna get out from under the stupid “0-2 vs the GOAT in the playoffs” talking point that Boston fans love to bring up seemingly every time Patrick does anything successful.

They don't even see the parallel here and that's the sad thing. Mahomes is doomed to wrongfully get the same shit that fools give LeBron just because he was better than his predecessor.

Maybe if Dan Gilbert and his staff did their job a little better then they wouldn’t have lost a great player.

And who cares? He was a FA. Is this not allowed?

Is your point that LeBron ruined the NBA by doing this?

Names that made it to the NBA finals. it’s still a fact: those teams formed super teams.

Super teams existed before LeBron

But according to Lebron Stan's they weren't allowed to exist after or during his attempts to build not 1, not 2, but 3 super teams.

When the only metrics you reeruns claim that matter is NBA Finals wins, I can see why any player wants to make super teams or join the NBA champions.

Some people say that the NBA is ruined but I think it’s in a great place currently. Jokic and Butler are great stories.

Thank Christ we didn’t get Lakers/Celtics for the 500th time. That is what makes the sport bad.

Gilbert made moves in conjunction/tandem with LeBron. Same with the Chiefs and Mahomes and the Warriors with Curry.

Not allowed and trying to claim its something completely okay when also denouncing another player doing something similar is the problem.
