A lot of the current white head coaches didn't play in the NFL which means they got an earlier jump on coaching versus black players who had careers in the NFL. Guess it could also be said that black college players don't make the NFL and could get an early jump on coaching as well.

Black players tend to run faster then white players.

https://www.nfl.com/photos/top-11-fa...p3000000917865

OR there's this.....

Quote:
Deion Sanders was absolutely shocked to see a white guy run a 4.35 at the Combine
"You know why I'm surprised. I can't say it on TV, but he can run run."

We’re certainly won’t say that bias in NFL Draft scouting against white defensive backs is as severe or damaging as, say, bias against black quarterbacks, but clearly there’s a lot of stereotyping going around all around.

For example, Apke’s 4.35 40 time places him fifth among all NFL Draft prospects, yet his NFL.com scouting report (published before the Combine) refers to “decent straight-line speed.” That description sure seems to sell Apke a bit short, as Deion Sanders can now attest.
Different argument? Probably but maybe Black head coaches are stereotyped?

Read the study I posted earlier. It shows that white HC's get more time/longer leash (and in a lot of cases more talent) than black HC's do.

Which you'd also know if you read the filing, which based on a lot of comments here, most of you didn't.

Just like the NFL, many of you have deemed his claims baseless without even reading the damn filing.
Gee how could anybody possibly get the idea that you are arguing that it’s racism and it’s systemic.

Again, Flores was fired because of the incompetence and disagreement with the FO.

He also in most circumstances would’ve kept his job if he somehow had made and won in the POs or didnt disagree with the FO.

I get your argument. Using Flores as an example is a poor choice.

Steve Wilks got fired after 1 ****ing season for no reason other than the Cardinals GM should’ve gotten fired with him instead of keeping his job.

I didn't make the argument, Flores and his legal team did.

But I'm willing to have an open mind and consider the possibility. Again, a few of you seem to think there's absolutely NO WAY this is race related.

Based on 1/32 and 15/129, I think there are definitely some questions that need to be asked of the league and their hiring practice.

You're right, especially around here where people just latch to one specific thing and are unwilling to look at the bigger picture.

Wilks is just one example, and I'm sure someone will come running to explain away his situation as well.

But you said it could be. You've entertained it's a possibility even if a remote one. You can't be that surprised then if someone else thinks it might be. It's obviously not beyond the realms of possibility to you.

Nobody is more outraged than a white liberal though.

Quote:
How did Flores become your client?

Mr. Flores and his team reached out to us. … We took this case because it is so, so egregious what’s happening in the NFL, and … change needs to be made. It’s been said by some of the pundits that the content of the lawsuit is actually not news. It’s not news that there’s systemic discrimination going on in the NFL. People know that there’s only one Black head coach, there are only four Black offensive coordinators, only six Black GMs — and this is for a league that’s 70 percent Black with respect to players. So the news here is that, finally, somebody has made the very difficult and very courageous decision to stand up and say this is not right?

I half think this is a ploy to force another team to hire him.

Quote:
Does Flores expect never to get another head-coaching job?

This is a unique opportunity for the NFL, as an institution, and specifically for individual owners, individual teams, whether he’s blackballed is a decision that they will all have to make. And we hope that they use this as an opportunity to show that he’s not blackballed, that he will stand on his merits, that the fact that he stood up for himself and for other Black candidates and coaches is not held against him.
And now we are headed to teams have to have a minority involved in the decision making of hiring all HC's.

Quote:
The NFL has invested considerable time and resources in its Diversity & Inclusion initiatives. In your opinion, why has that not worked?

The Rooney Rule, for instance, all it requires is that teams interview minority candidates for various positions. There’s not even a requirement, it should, it should be implicit, of course, that these be done in a meaningful and bonafide way … And so the NFL needs to really hold owners accountable for, the teams accountable in terms of how they’re engaging in their process … One specific change that we’ve proposed is that the NFL requires that teams include Black and minority people in the decision-making process, that itself should not be controversial. It’s well known that there’s something called same race bias, where implicitly, people will favor those of their own race and background in making hiring decisions. So that’s just one example.

You didn’t make the argument? I quoted you. Not Flores. Those were your words. You’re clearly arguing that it’s racism and it’s systemic, but for some odd reason you won’t commit fully.

See. Look right here. Clearly implying that it’s racism and to argue that it’s not would take “explaining away”.

It’s pretty obvious that you’re arguing that it’s racism that you believe is systemic.

Stop being a ****ing coward and own it pussy.
