There are teams for which Orlando Brown would be really excellent. The Chiefs are not one of them. I was optimistic after last season, but he has not built on it and taken a step back. Oh well. For me, I'm with you on all these options. I think there are guys who just fit so much better with what KC wants to do, they're better options for next year (especially if they're athletic movers. Thuney can be a big support for them on inside moves). I think, at least right now, this OT class is underrated. The most attractive thing about this option, or at least one of the most attractive, is the ability to upgrade the OL overall at a lower salary cap cost than Brown by himself. Say the dream, best-case scenario plays out. You convince Jawaan Taylor to come to KC on a big RT contract (4/72? 40M guaranteed?), you get a cheap LT on a rookie deal who fits KC's style better than Brown, and you pick up some form of draft assets in return for Brown. Even if the best you can get for tagging and trading Brown is a 3rd round pick, it's great for the long-term prospects of the team.

I like when the bigger players start releasing some boards after the Shrine and Senior Bowls. I think Harrison goes by 20, maybe he slips to the upper 20's but I can't see him being there at 30. Bergeron is most probable to be there at 30 but his Senior Bowl performance could be huge for his stock, or not. Foskey... I'd say absolutely no way he's there at 30. Back-to-back 10 sack years for the Irish? Good speed, good power. No way. He's a better prospect than Jermaine Johnson and George Karlaftis coming out. I'd say he comes in by 20 or so and if there's a run on the top 3 early then I could see 15. If he were there, I'd have a really hard time passing. Ojulari seems right to be available. He's a 2nd round guy at best IMO. I don't know if I have a ton of interest in him for the Chiefs. I think he's best served as a 3-4 OLB to be honest and maybe one of those teams takes him earlier. I think he'll take some development. The Huddle Report finally released an updated top 100 today and I like them a lot. Here are some references of everyone's "want" positions right now: OTs 1-8 Peter Skoronski, Northwestern 1-10 Paris Johnson, Ohio State 1-13 Broderick Jones, Georgia 1-30 Jaelyn Duncan, Maryland 1-32 Anton Harrison, Oklahoma 2-51 Matthew Bergeron, Syracuse 2-54 Dawand Jones, Ohio State 2-62 Cody Mauch, North Dakota State 3-84 Blake Freeland, BYU DEs 1-2 Will Anderson, Alabama 1-5 Myles Murphy, Clemson 1-6 Tyree Wilson, Texas Tech 1-21 Isaiah Foskey, Notre Dame 1-31 Lukas VanNess, Iowa 2-41 Andre Carter, Army 2-50 Zach Harrison, Ohio State 2-55 Felix Anudike-Uzomah, Kansas State 2-57 Will McDonald, Iowa State 2-59 Keion White, Georgia Tech 2-63 Mike Morris, Michigan DTs 1-4 Jalen Carter, Georgia 1-9 Bryan Bresee, Clemson 2-38 Tuli Tuipulotu, USC 2-39 Siaki Ika, Baylor 3-66 Mazi Smith, Michigan 3-72 Keeanu Benton, Wisconsin 3-74 Gervon Dexter, Florida 3-90 Calijah Kancey, Pittsburgh 4-99 Zach Pickens WRs 1-16 Quentin Johnson, TCU 1-17 Jaxon Smith-Njigba, Ohio State 1-18 Jordan Addison, USC 1-26 Jalin Hyatt, Tennessee 2-35 Josh Downs, North Carolina 2-40 Cedric Tillman, Tennessee 2-44 Zay Flowers, Boston College 2-46 Rashee Rice, SMU 3-71 Kayshon Boutte, LSU 3-78 AT Perry, Wake Forest 3-80 Marvin Mims, Oklahoma 3-82 Charlie Jones, Purdue 3-87 Dontayvion Wicks, Virginia 3-89 Trey Palmer, Nebraska 3-92 Tyler Scott, Cincinnati |

So looking around and using the past as a guide, there's gonna be some guys traded this year that we aren't expecting.
Who we thinking? |

What are people's opinions on Kaleb McGary? Think he may be a decent option for right tackle.

We got a stud CB and an ascendant DE in the 20-30 range.
I don’t see why we couldn’t get a serviceable LT in that range. |
