Mock (7/12)

It's been a while, so I'm going to take some gigantic leaps here.

1. The Chiefs win Super Bowl LIV over the Philadelphia Eagles. During the season and prior to the season, the Chiefs paid DT Chris Jones and WR Tyreek Hill, for deals that range in the $18m/year range.

2. The Chiefs extend/re-sign QB Patrick Mahomes 7 years, $245m, OG Andrew Wylie 2 years, $8m, CB Bashaud Breeland 2 years, $10m, S Jordan Lucas 3 years, $13m.

3. The Chiefs cut: WR Sammie Watkins, ILB Anthony Hitchens, S Daniel Sorensen, P Dustin Colquitt

4. The Chiefs trade OG Laurent Duvarney-Tardif to your mother's team for a 2nd round pick, DE Breeland Speaks to your mother's 2nd favorite team for a 4th round pick, DE Tanoh Kpassagnon to your father's least favorite team for a 5th round pick.

5. The Chiefs re-sign to minimal deals: FB Anthony Sherman, WR Demarcus Robinson, C Jimmy Murray, DT Xavier Williams, OLB Jeremiah Attaochu, OLB Darren Lee

6. The Chiefs tender: QB Chase Litton, WR Gehrig Dieter, TE Deon Yelder, OG Ryan Hunter, CB Keith Reaser

7. The Chiefs let walk: QB Chad Henne, RB Carlos Hyde, TE Blake Bell, DE Emmanuel Ogbah, ILB Reggie Ragland, CB Kendall Fuller

8. The Chiefs sign no one, because they have no money.

9. The Chiefs are selecting 32nd. They receive a 4th round compensatory pick.

The Selections:

1. CB Trevon Diggs, Alabama
2 (Duvarney-Tardif). ILB Shaquille Quarterman, Miami
2. DE Darrell Taylor, Tennessee
3. DE Johnathan Cooper, Ohio State
4. OT/G Alaric Jackson, Iowa
4 (Compensatory). ILB Tuf Borland, Ohio State
5 (Kpassagnon). RB JJ Taylor, Arizona
5 (Speaks). WR Chase Claypool, Notre Dame
5. TE Jared Pinkney, Vanderbilt

Roster:

QB: Mahomes, Shurmur, Litton
RB: Williams, Thompson, Taylor, Williams
FB: Sherman

WR: Hill, Hardman, Robinson, Thompson, Dieter, Claypool
TE: Kelce, Pinkney, Yelder

LT: Fisher, Schwartz
LG: Wylie, McKenzie
C: Reiter, Murray
RG: Jackson, Erving
RT: Schwartz, Hunter

DE: Clark, Cooper
DT: Jones, Saunders
DT: Nnadi, Williams
DE: Okafor, Taylor

OLB: O'Daniel, Lee
ILB: Quarterman, Borland, Niemann
OLB: Wilson, Attaochu

CB: Diggs, Breeland, Ward, Fenton, Reaser
S: Matthieu, Thornhill, Lucas, Watts

I'd like to make those trades, but they are super optimistic.

I think they’re on par with Ragland and Cam Erving.

With his contract, injuries and his position...I think you'd maybe get a 5th round pick for Ldt

The Chiefs win Super Bowl LIV over the Philadelphia Eagles.

It was annoying that you kept doing these last year with us losing to the Pats- but hell if you weren't right. Let's hope your prognosticating skills are on point 2 years in a row!!

I think this is good karma!
