Matt Flynn

I was wondering what everyones thoughts were on bringing in Matt Flynn to be the back-up to the new incoming rookie?

If we get John Dorsey from Green Bay, he may actually value Flynn?

Would giving up a mid round pick and a not to big of a contract be suitable? I think Flynn might work out pretty good in Andy Reid's offense as a vet back-up. Much in the same role he is doing now in Seattle and as he did in Green Bay behind Rogers.

We aren't talking a Matt Cassel situation here in draft pick and contract.

Go watch FSU highlights. Most of his completions are very short passes. He's inaccurate and doesn't even throw that great of a deep ball. I wouldn't draft him.

This.

Matt Flynn has one big game. Matt Cassell had 11 wins. Flynn would be an even bigger risk than Cassel.

Do not want the potential for this situation again.

How great would it have been had we still had Orton ? But then we probably would not have the first pick either

Who needs highlights?

Pretty god awful 40 yard throw for a TD at 6:09... close your eyes!

If you wouldn't draft a kid like him with the 3rd round comp pick or 4th round pick, especially with Reid, then I'm sorry, your and idiot.

Not impressed. Mostly a bunch of screens and <10yd passes. He had a few nice deep throws (including the TD you pointed out). This was his best game all year. Go watch his game against Florida or NC State.

I'm suppose to ignore his best and focus on his worst? Sorry, I'm not playing that game with a ****ing 3-4 round pick.

No. You look at a sample across his entire career at FSU you ****ing moron. I've seen a lot of him and he ****ing blows. Playing agains the weak ass ACC, with the most talented roster in the ACC, he should have much better production. I hope KC doesn't waste a draft pick - any draft pick - on this kid.

I don't know, here's the way I see Flynn. One year ago he'd have cost a lot of money. One year later, after another year on the bench, he's going to cost the money AND a draft pick or two? No. That ****in' ship has sailed.

It's just crazy enough to work / Scott Pioli

Additionally, not impressed with Ryan Nassib. Let Marrone take him to Buffalo.

I need to watch Nassib a bit more before I make a call on him. Thus far I'm unimpressed. I probably just need to watch the right game to see what his potential is
