Is it worth $1500?

We just brought a 2015 Honda Civic for $14200. The mileage is 18800. Right now we have a 12 mo or 12000 miles coverage that comes with the car. The manager offered us a $1500 additional coverage for up to 100,000 miles for the car. Is it worthy it?

The factory warranty is out as it must be past the 3 year mark not mileage.

Actually I am, but they are paying. Customer is out about 200 bucks
How does this happen? Did something on the assembly line go wrong when putting the engine together or installing it?

I’ve put 300-400K miles on Hondas/Acuras.

Worst problem I had was a shitty AC design on a Civic where the compressor blew a couple times.

Also, and this should be self-explanatory, but the longer you plan to hold the car, the more an extended warranty makes sense.

I misread your post, I thought you were saying it was a brand new Acadia. But you are saying it was a used Acadia someone bought.
